A new Australian escape

The oldest landscape you will ever stand on.

Red Centre Grand Casino Hotel is a fictional destination in the heart of the Australian outback, on ancient red earth that has weathered for hundreds of millions of years under a sky so dark the Milky Way throws a shadow. Burnt ochre, deep ember, spinifex sage and warm dune tones run through the whole casino hotel, built low and cool against the desert heat.

Watch the range change colour through the day, from rose to blood-orange to violet. Sit out after dark as the stars come down to the horizon on every side. Then step into our adults-only casino salon, warm and low against the cold desert night. Everything in this casino hotel is dwarfed by the country around it, and it is built to honour that rather than compete.

Kata Restaurant

Bush tucker, taken seriously.

Our signature restaurant works with native Australian ingredients and the people who know them best—kangaroo and emu, barramundi, saltbush, wattleseed, quandong, lemon myrtle and finger lime. Dishes are cooked simply over open coals, the wine is all Australian, and dinner is often served outside under the stars beside the casino hotel lobby.

Yes. Casino entry at this casino hotel is strictly limited to guests aged 18 or over, in line with Australian regulations. Valid government-issued photo identification may be requested at the casino entrance.
About as dark as it gets anywhere on Earth. With no towns for a great distance, the Milky Way is bright enough to cast a faint shadow, and the casino hotel runs guided stargazing most clear nights.
Very hot by day in summer and surprisingly cold at night year-round. Activities are timed for the cool of morning and evening, and every part of the casino hotel is built to stay cool through the day.
In the fiction of this concept, deeply. The design works with local Traditional Owners, uses native planting and bush foods, and treats the country as the reason to visit rather than a backdrop to the casino hotel.
Given the remoteness, most guests stay over, but adult visitors are welcome at the restaurant, bar and casino floor subject to availability and casino hotel venue conditions.
Yes. Guidance on limits, breaks, self-exclusion and independent Australian support services should be available throughout the casino gaming area and at the casino hotel front desk.
